SEFOPE ANNOUNCES REFERENCE NUMBER OF 7813 WORKERS

Dili, December 12, 2024 (Média Democracia) – SEFOPE through DNEE issued reference numbers for prospective Timorese workers who obtained high scores will prepare documents to be presented in each municipality. The activity was held at the SEFOPE hall, Caicoli, Dili, on Tuesday.

DNEE Chairman Carlito do Rosario Cabral said that today a press conference was held to announce the reference numbers of prospective participants who had just taken the English test with the highest scores, so that they could be ascertained at the municipality that they had just taken the test, because SEFOPE had proposed the Word Ready Pool system built by DNEE in 12 municipalities.

“We apply it to candidates who have just taken the English written test with a classification of very good, very good and good. However, candidates who do not achieve a score of 50 and above must study English more diligently, then after getting the certificate they can update their scores in each city.” He said.

He continued, prospective participants who have received a reference number are requested to still go to SEFOPE so that they can complete documents such as passports and behave well in the municipality where they are taking the written test.

“The total number of candidates who have received referral numbers in 13 municipalities totaling 7813 starting from the Special Administrative Region of Oe-Cusse Ambeno with a total of 99 people, Manufahi with a total of 620, Manatuto with a total of 210, Liquiça with a total of 262, Lautem with a total of 657, Ermera with a total of 528, Dili with a total of 1005, Covalima with a total of 658, Bobonaro with a total of 498, Baucau with a total of 1096, Atauro with a total of 638, Aileu with a total of 822, Viqueque with a total of 661, these candidates have received and entered the Word Ready Pool system.” He added.

He added that as many as 7,813 applicants have entered the Word Ready Pool system, these applicants are just waiting for 2025, the employees needed to work in their company will be recruited but the final process will be carried out, namely the employee’s English and health test, then working abroad.

Further explained that prospective Timorese workers were asked to maintain a position close to themselves in SEFOPE so that they could access information and not trust some people who did not know anything when trying to lie to carry out illegal levies for new candidates, so as not to cause failure.
