Lautem, December 25, 2024 (Média Democracia) – Lautem Level II Inpatient Care of Lospalos Health Center, health workers provide services for patients affected by disasters from Monday to Friday.
According to the Director of the Lospalos Hospitalization Health Center, Lolalina da Conseição Freitas, the Lospalos Hospitalization Health Center has been open to patients from Monday to Friday to facilitate patients.
“Our services at Level II Inpatient Care of Lospalos Health Center, we are often open from Monday to Friday because this health service is our responsibility to patients to provide first aid to patients who are sick when a disaster or other illness occurs.” She said.
She added that Impatient Care of Lospalos Health Center provides different services from the duties of other health institutions in providing services to patients because it is one of the health centers in Lospalos.
“Monday to Friday serving patients, besides that also serving the Obidi section as we know this is level II meaning we have hospitalization and we also have other activities such as 10 Siska posts but in reality there are only 8, because the Lore Health Center has not had any that have still handed over to the Lospalos Hospitalization Health Center.” Said the Director
She continued, currently the health center has ten posts to serve patients when they enter this hospital.
“We also have the Maubial Clinic activity, we hold this activity because we want our community to be able to access the health center in this hospital properly, we try to provide services at the first-level health center because if you go to the second-level health center, it’s a waste of time,” She said.
She emphasized that with the dwindling stock of drugs in the hospital, patients were forced to use their own money to buy drugs, because the drugs in the hospital were lacking.
“We have talked about medicines in this hospital, 65% always provide services to patients, but there are injections as a disease (sekfreakson), but three months ago we decided that our health center would no longer use medicines here because we no longer have specialist doctors in this section to serve patients,” She said.
To explain further related to service activities at Lospalos Hospital, so far it has been carrying out its duties from Monday to Friday, but there have been several failures in eight items that are not available such as diclofenac, folic acid, promethazine, puskopa, seafexone, cloxacillin and metro, here they often cannot provide services to patients when they enter the hospital.
